From a couple of days to about three and a half weeks after your first day trading the funded account, depending on the firm and how you get paid. The fastest are Tradeify's Select Daily and MyFundedFutures' Rapid paid in USDC (a crypto coin worth $1): about 2 days. But only if you make about $2,350 at Tradeify or $2,600 at MyFundedFutures in your first session, and Rise, their payment provider, verifies you on the spot. The slowest are APEX (through Plane) and Topstep (by international wire): 2 to 3.5 weeks. Get your ID verified and your payout method ready early: leaving it to the last minute delays the payout.
Everything here comes from the official pages of each firm and of its payment providers (Plane and Rise), checked on October 22, 2026. Payment times are for traders outside the US. Firms publish each step separately; the best-case totals are our math, not measured times.
When you can request it and how long approval takes
| Firm | Accounts | What you need first | Approval |
|---|---|---|---|
| APEX | 50K PA (EOD or intraday) | 5 qualifying days: at least $250 net each on EOD and $200 on intraday. You also need a balance of at least $52,600 ($2,600 profit), and no single day can make up half or more of your total profit | Reviews the request within 2 business days and sends the money in another 3 or 4. APEX says most traders get paid in 5 to 11 business days in total |
| Lucid | 50K Flex, Pro and Direct | Flex: 5 days with at least $150 profit each and a positive cycle; since you can only withdraw up to 50% of the profit and the minimum is $500, you need about $1,000. Pro: 3 days (per its website) and $2,600 profit, with your best day at most 40%. Direct: 5 days (per its website) and $3,000 profit, with your best day at most 20% | Doesn't publish how long approval takes. Once approved, it pays within 2 business days |
| Topstep | 50K XFA | Standard path: 5 winning days of $150 or more. Consistency path: 3 traded days, and your best day can't exceed 40% of your total profit. You pick the path when you activate the XFA and can't change it later | 1 to 3 business days. It takes requests from Sunday 5:00 PM to Friday 5:00 PM Chicago time, except holidays |
| Tradeify | 50K Select Daily, Select Flex and Growth | Select Daily: 1 session closing at about $52,350 or more ($2,350 profit). Select Flex: 5 days with at least $150 profit each. Growth: 5 days with more than $150, a balance of $53,000 or more and no day above 35% of the profit. On all of them, more than half of your trades and of your profit must come from trades longer than 10 seconds | No published timeline. If you request it outside its office hours (Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM New York time) or on a holiday, it can take up to 72 hours |
| MyFundedFutures | 50K Rapid, Builder and Pro | Rapid: 24 hours after your first trade and about $2,600 in closed profit (the $2,100 buffer plus the $500 minimum payout). Builder: 48 hours and 2 traded days. Pro: 14 calendar days | Per its policy, most are instant; its first-payout guide says 6 to 12 business hours for all (up to 24 per its Rapid pages) |
50K means a $50,000 account. PA and XFA are what APEX and Topstep call their funded account, which is simulated. EOD and intraday are two ways of tracking the maximum loss allowed: at the end of the day or in real time. A qualifying day is a day that reaches the account's minimum profit. The buffer is the balance you must always leave in the account: you can only withdraw what's above it. Business days don't count weekends or holidays; calendar days do. Business hours are office hours on weekdays.
How you get paid outside the US and the fastest case
| Firm | Methods outside the US | Fastest first payout, from your first funded trading day (our math) |
|---|---|---|
| APEX | Plane, its payment provider, to a bank account in your name in your country of residence. Plane doesn't charge you to receive the money. On the first payout, Plane emails you to sign up and add your bank: the email arrives 1 to 4 business days after approval (another APEX page says up to two weeks) | 10 to 16 business days (about 2 to 3 weeks): 5 trading days plus APEX's 5 to 11 business days. The first time, add the Plane sign-up and linking your bank |
| Lucid | WorkMarket, its payment platform (to your bank or PayPal), or crypto (bitcoin, ether, litecoin, or USDT and USDC, which are worth $1), within 2 business days. Fees aren't published | Can't be pinned down: at least 5 trading days (3 on Pro), plus an approval with no published timeline and up to 2 business days to pay |
| Topstep | International wire (SWIFT): 5 to 10 business days and $30 (plus any bank fees). Wise only in China, Canada and the UK: 1 to 3 business days; if you don't have a Wise account, you have 7 calendar days to claim the payment or it's cancelled, and your Wise email must match your profile | By wire, 9 to 16 business days on the Consistency path and 11 to 18 on Standard (about 2 to 3.5 weeks). With Wise, 5 to 9 and 7 to 11 |
| Tradeify | Rise, its payment provider: to your bank in your local currency in 1 or 2 business days, or 3 to 5 for CAD ($10); in US dollars by international wire (SWIFT) in 3 to 5 business days ($25 plus any bank fees); or in USDC, a crypto coin worth $1: instantly on Arbitrum or Coinbase ($2.90) and in 20 to 30 minutes on Ethereum, Base, Optimism or Polygon ($2.50). Check the network: a transfer to the wrong one can be lost | Select Daily with USDC: about 2 calendar days at best (up to about 4), if Rise verifies your identity instantly: Rise's invitation arrives when your first payout is approved. Select Flex and Growth: about 6 to 8 calendar days with USDC and about 8 to 10 to a bank in your currency |
| MyFundedFutures | Rise, with the same withdrawal methods, timelines and fees as at Tradeify. It doesn't publish how long it takes to move the money to Rise | Rapid with USDC: the day after your first trade, if everything goes smoothly (our math): on the first payout you must first sign the Rise agreements emailed to you. MyFundedFutures itself is more cautious: it says the fastest traders get paid within a week |
To see whether you can request it today and how much, use the payout calculator (APEX, Lucid, Topstep and Tradeify). Mind your country: Lucid and Tradeify don't accept residents of Ecuador, Panama, Venezuela, Cuba or Nicaragua, Rise doesn't operate in Venezuela or Cuba, and at Topstep a non-US trader's request includes form W-8BEN. If you live in Spain or Latin America, methods, fees and accepted countries are in prop firms from Spain and Latin America.
What delays the first payout most
- The ID check and the payout method. The firms or their payment providers ask you to verify your identity (at Lucid, when its payment provider requires it), and the payment provider (Plane at APEX, Rise at Tradeify and MyFundedFutures) has its own sign-up. Rise warns that a manual document review can take several business days. An expired ID, a blurry photo or a name that doesn't match blocks the payment. Do it as soon as you get the funded account, not on the day you request the payout. If you live in Spain or Mexico, Tradeify asks for the ID check before giving you the funded account.
- A bank account that isn't in your name or is in another country. At APEX, a bank outside your country of residence gets the payout rejected, and special characters in your name (APEX doesn't list them; accents can count) can stop it. APEX, Topstep and Rise (Tradeify and MyFundedFutures) require the bank account to be in your name.
- Trading after requesting it. At APEX and Tradeify you can keep trading, but if your balance drops below the buffer or the minimum before it's processed, the request is denied. At Lucid it can be denied too, the request can't be cancelled, and if you make it during the session (on-demand payouts) the account can't trade until the end of the day. At APEX on Tradovate, you also can't have open positions when you request it.
- Requesting at the wrong time. At Tradeify, a request made outside its office hours can take up to 72 hours. Topstep only takes requests while the Chicago futures exchange (CME) is open: from Sunday 5:00 PM to Friday 5:00 PM Chicago time.
- A compliance review. Firms can check before paying that you haven't broken their rules (Topstep and Tradeify say so explicitly). For example: opposite positions in two accounts (hedging); at Lucid, making more than half your profit on trades of 5 seconds or less (microscalping); at Tradeify, the 10-second rule above; high-frequency trading bots or copying other traders. Tradeify's contract even lets it take until the end of the next payout cycle to decide, or suspend approved but unpaid payouts while it investigates.
What to keep from day one
None of the five publishes a list. These are our recommendations, based on what firms ask for when they review an account: Topstep asks for supporting documentation in appeals, and APEX can ask for marked-up charts and recordings on its Legacy accounts, its older range.
- Your order and execution history, exported from the platform every week.
- A screenshot of the dashboard when you request the payout: balance, qualifying days and the eligibility message.
- The rules page of your account on the day you bought it (save it as a PDF): firms change their rules.
- Every email and support ticket, and the payout confirmation.
- If you get paid through Rise (Tradeify or MyFundedFutures), your 12-word recovery code, stored offline: recovering access locks withdrawals for up to 48 hours.
If it's approved but doesn't arrive
- APEX: if your dashboard shows the payout as “PAID” and the money hasn't arrived, APEX asks you to wait up to 7 business days before contacting your bank or Plane, and not to open a ticket in the meantime. If Plane's sign-up email doesn't arrive, check your spam folder and wait 4 business days before opening a ticket.
- Tradeify and MyFundedFutures: the money lands in your Rise account first. At Tradeify, accept its invitation under “Action Items”; at MyFundedFutures, sign the agreements emailed to you with your first payout. Without that step you don't get paid. If a Rise withdrawal fails (for example, because of wrong bank details), Rise returns the amount and the fee.
- Topstep with Wise: you have 7 days to claim the payment in Wise. Otherwise it's cancelled and the money goes back to Topstep.
If it gets denied
- APEX: no formal appeal process is published. If it was denied for not meeting the requirements, the account stays active and you can request again when you do. Support is through its helpdesk.
- Lucid: it only publishes an appeal for accounts flagged for microscalping or high-frequency trading. Support is by ticket from the help center chat.
- Topstep: you can't open an appeal yourself. If an appeal is possible, its compliance team (Trust) contacts you and you reply with supporting documentation. Some violations can't be appealed, and if hedging between accounts is confirmed, the case isn't reopened.
- Tradeify: support by chat (not on Discord), and Rise's own support for verification or withdrawal problems. It may ask for more information, but not every decision can be reconsidered.
- MyFundedFutures: no appeal process is published; write to its support first. If the rejection comes from the ID check, it can't change the decision of the outside company that does it. Don't ask your bank to reverse a payment you made to the firm (a chargeback): its policy says it can freeze your accounts.
The most common reasons for a denied payout, and how to avoid them, are in why prop firm payouts get denied.
